This notice covers the waitlist and partner forms on this website. The BudgetPlan app will have its own privacy policy before it opens.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, your postcode and, if you choose, what you would most like help with.
- Partner form: your name, role, organisation, work email and your message.
- Visit data: anonymous page view counts through Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies. We also record the campaign link you arrived from, if any.
Why we collect it
To tell you when BudgetPlan opens, to decide where to launch first and what to build first, and to reply to partner enquiries. We won't use it for anything else, and we will never sell it.
Where it is kept
Form entries are stored in a database hosted in Sydney. When someone joins the waitlist, our team gets an email with the postcode only. Partner enquiries are emailed to our team in full through our email provider, which may process them outside Australia.
Removing your details
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To have your details deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@budgetplan.com.au. We will act on it within 30 days.
Who we are
BudgetPlan will be operated by Budgeting Pty Ltd, an Australian company that is being registered now. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
